Indicted judge allegedly made threats

Posted By on Fri, Jan 18, 2013 at 1:00 PM

The feds asked today that indicted Ouachita County Judge Mike Hesterly remain in jail pending a bond hearing because he threatened witnesses and an FBI agent, the blog of the El Dorado News-Times reports.

Hesterly made an appearance in court today on his bribery and conspiracy indictment. A bond hearing is set Tuesday. He's accused of rigging a job with a construction company in return for campaign money.
