Good news for Arkansas lottery

No winners of the big prize in yesterday's Powerball drawing, which means the jackpot Saturday will go to $475 $550 million, which would be the second largest. That should spur sales significantly, a boon to the Arkansas Lottery.

There was a $1 million winner in Arkansas yesterday on the drawing for matching five numbers, according to the Powerball website.

With the $350 million cash takehome, you could start a pretty robust independent campaign expenditure committee.

Hey, I just remembered the state income tax. An Arkansas winner would pour almost $25 million into the state treasury. I think the lottery winner should get to earmark it.
