Little Rock Police Sgt. Cassandra Davis reports that Jaxson Guinn, 19, of Morrilton has died of gunshot wounds in a shooting near 27th and Battery about 12:40 p.m. Thursday. Guinn reportedly drove himself to Roosevelt and Schiller to get help. He was hospitalized with a gunshot wound to the torso and died this morning. Police have issued a warrant for a suspect in the case, but haven't made an arrest yet. A companion told police and Guinn were in the neighborhood seeking to buy pills. Some narcotics were found at the scene.

ALSO FROM LRPD: The woman whose body was found in a burning pile of tires on Young Road in Southwest Little Rock has been identified. She's Amy May Hughett, 31, of Little Rock. No motive or suspect has been developed.
