Pulaski sheriff busy thanks to July 4 fireworks calls

Lt. Carl Minden of the Pulaski sheriff's office reports:

Calls from the afternoon on July 3rd through 0700 this morning (July 5th):

Fireworks calls — 49
Grass Fires — 30
Fire/Residential structures — 3
Fire/Other structures — 1

I asked if the fires were all related to fireworks or coincidental. He responded:

Some were known to have been fireworks related. Others are causes unknown. In other words…they probably were but there were no witnesses to prove it
