The Thursday night line

I'm tired of being tired. The line is open. A final word or two:

* THE DYSFUNCTIONAL CONGRESS: As I sign off comes word again of another potential bipartisan Senate compromise on government-backed student loans. To date, this has been another one of this issues where Tom Cotton and Tim Griffin have proclaimed themselves and their running buddies czars. Only their legislation is acceptable. Compromise is a word that doesn't appear in their dictionary. But now another wrinkle.
