NWA man gets 30 months in prison for failure to pay taxes

The U.S. attorney's office in Fort Smith has announced that Dennis Nooner, 52, who once had a business office in Northwest Arkansas for assisted living centers he ran in Mississippi, will get 30 months in prison and a $50,000 fine for failing to pay employment taxes he'd withheld from workers' pay. He'll also have to pay restitution of $407,354 to the IRS. He pleaded guilty to two counts in a 22-count indictment.
