Republican messaging on a government shutdown

Wonkblog at the Washington Post reads the words of Rep. Eric Cantor and decides that the House will not vote for a government shutdown by approving a continuing budget resolution that defunds Obamacare.

The entry notes, as I have, the mutually exclusive words coming out of the mouths of people like Cantor, Tom Cotton and Tim Griffin. They say they oppose a shutdown. But they also say they want to defund Obamacare. Once to every man and nation comes a moment to decide .....
