The Diamond and Watermelon State open line

The line is open. Thanks to Austin Kellerman at Channel 4 for the photo, via Twitter, of a 12-year-old North Carolina boy who found a 5.16-carat gem at the Crater of Diamonds State Park.

And thanks to @MikeRossUpdates for a classic bit of Arkansiana, political candidates in the Hope Watermelon Festival melon-eating contest. That's Ross second from right and, to his immediate left in the photo, Asa Hutchinson.
