Victim in North Little Rock shooting identified

Channel 4 reports that the motorist killed by a gunshot from a passing vehicle near McCain and JFK in North Little Rock last night has been identified as Samantha Cass, 31, of North Little Rock. A child found unhurt in the car was her child and is now with her father.

No information yet on a suspect. The shots were believed to have been fired from a pickup with an orange tool box in the back.

The North Little Rock police are operating a 24-hour tip line at 680-8439 in search of leads.
