Lt. Sidney Allen with the Little Rock Police Department, reports that an arrest has been made in the robberies of an Applebee's in Mablevale and the Starbucks at 5719 Kavanaugh in the Heights. Both robberies happened on Sunday, Nov. 17. We reported the details from those robberies here.

Allen writes that officers with the LRPD went to Jacksonville yesterday and tracked down Dedrick Bernard Williams, 27, of Sweet Home.  Officers found Williams hiding in the attic of a home on East Boulevard in Jacksonville. After being taken into custody, police said, Williams confessed to robbing the two restaurants at gunpoint. He has been charged with three counts of aggravated robbery and one count of theft of property in relation to the Starbucks robbery, and two counts of aggravated robbery and one count of theft of property in the Applebee's robbery. He is currently in the Pulaski County Jail, being held on $175,000 bond.
