See the proposed desegregation settlement online

Posted By on Wed, Nov 27, 2013 at 2:36 PM

The proposed desegregation settlement is now online, Attorney General Dustin McDaniel announced today.

A fairness hearing on the proposed settlement is scheduled for Jan. 13 and 14 at the federal courthouse in Little Rock. Any members of the Joshua Class, defined in the lawsuit as “all current, past and future LRSD, PCSSD and NLRSD black students, their parents and next friends,” have an opportunity to object to the settlement and be heard during the fairness hearing, but they must first raise their objections in writing no later than Dec. 23.
