When I told my friend I was making a sweet potato casserole tonight, she said, "Tell me marshmallows are not involved."

So, what? Am I being outre or something by melting marshmallows on top of my sweet potatoes? If I had any decent pecans, I'd add them, too.

And, despite Max Brantley's annual gibe at me for including parsnips in the Thanksgiving meal, they will be there. What's in your gullet, tomorrow?

Consider this an open line.
