The National Weather Service in Little Rock has issued a Winter Storm  Watch  for  much of northwest and central Arkansas for Thursday and Friday, forecasting freezing rain, sleet and snow moving through the state on Thursday night and into Friday morning, with another line moving through on Saturday. The NWS map, seen above, calls for rain switching over to wintry mix as a cold front pushes into the state on Thursday night, with a high probability of snow and freezing rain in the Northwest corner of the state, and possible accumulation stretching into central Arkansas and extending as far south as Pine Bluff.
