Posted By on Mon, Dec 23, 2013 at 9:08 AM

Verico Ingram, 26, of 7515 Geyer Springs Road, was found fatally wounded by a close-range shotgun blast shortly after midnight near 15th and Abigail Streets.

Police received a report that a woman had heard three gunshots and saw two people running. In the 4200 block of 15th Street, officers found Ingram slumped in the driver's seat of a car with the driver side window and the rear passenger window broken out. Officers said he apparently was shot at close range and struck in the chest and face.

No suspects identified at this point.
