Denton won't run for state House

Posted By on Wed, Jan 29, 2014 at 10:36 AM

Pulaski County Justice of the Peace Tyler Denton said today he won't seek election to the state House of Representatives, for District 35 in Little Rock. He'd long been mentioned as one of several possible Democratic candidates to fill the seat being vacated by term-limited Rep. John Edwards.

So far the only announced candidates are Democrat Jodie Mahony and City Director Stacy Hurst, a Republican.
