Another Democrat into the fray in Benton County

Posted By on Tue, Feb 11, 2014 at 10:14 AM

No surrender yet. Word comes from the Democratic Party today of another legislative candidate in Benton County.

He's Grimsley Graham of Rogers, a veteran and a teacher at Rogers High School for 30 years. Said his release:

Like many Arkansans, I am disturbed by the polarization and vitriol that have characterized the political process. I am running because I know that common sense and working together across the aisle will move Arkansas forward and I pledge to do just that.

The seat is currently held by Tea Party extremist Republican Debra Hobbs, who's running for governor. There are plenty more where she came from, of course.
