North Little Rock police identify man killed by officer

Posted By on Thu, Mar 6, 2014 at 2:26 PM

The man killed by a North Little Rock police officer after he reportedly tried to hit the officer with a cane has been identified as Robert Storay, 52, of Little Rock.

Storay reportedly was causing a disturbance on a Central Arkansas Transit bus and was shot when he attacked an officer trying to get him off the bus at Fourth and Maple, in North Little Rock. Web documents indicate a man with the same name has been arrested within the last year by Little Rock police for disorderly conduct and filed a federal suit, later dismissed, over treatment by Little Rock police.
