Since his followers have disrupted many a funeral and political event in Arkansas, I note the death in Topeka of Fred Phelps, 84, the founder of the Westboro Baptist Church, which promulgated an anti-gay message at its funeral protests. His protests led to state laws, including in Arkansas, limiting demonstrations around funerals.
