Obama's secret service agents get drunk, sent home

Posted By on Wed, Mar 26, 2014 at 8:28 AM

The Washington Post reported last night that three secret service agents got a little too deep into the Netherlands groove.

Three Secret Service agents responsible for protecting President Obama in Amsterdam this week were sent home and put on administrative leave Sunday after going out for a night of drinking, according to three people familiar with the incident. One of the agents was found drunk and passed out in a hotel hallway, the people said.

Yikes. I have actually passed out in Amsterdam before, but luckily I didn't have anything important to do like protect the commander in chief. Actually, the report says the agents were partying in Noordwijk, about 15 minutes outside of the Hague.

The agents were members of the elite Secret Service Counter Assault Team.
