City officials will gather Thursday morning in Riverfront Park to show off a new splash pad in the children’s play area of Riverfront Park.

The city built the new feature, with costs underwritten by two businessmen, John Burkhalter of Burkhalter Technologies (and a candidate for lieutenant governor) and Wayne Woods, CEO of Cranford Johnson Robinson Woods, the marketing firm.
