We're kicking off a new series today called Answers, where we ask interesting folks a series of questions and post their answers in short videos (hat tip to The Dish). On a busy week, Mara Leveritt was gracious enough to be our first interview subject. She's, of course, the author of "Devil's Knot" and the forthcoming "Dark Spell." She's also likely had her byline in the pages of the Times longer than anyone else. Tonight, she'll celebrate the premiere of the film adaption of "Devil's Knot" at the Ron Robinson Theater.

In addition to what's above — could the WM3 case happen today? — we asked:

Why does the West Memphis Three case matter?

What's the advantage, after all the reporting, a book and four documentary film, of a feature film to tell the story of the West Memphis murders?

If the West Memphis Three were indeed wrongfully convicted, who should be held accountable?

What's the case for cameras in the courtroom?
