The 'bridge builder' open line

ON CAPITOL VIEW: Mark Pryor.
  • ON CAPITOL VIEW: Mark Pryor.

The Sunday line is open. Mark Pryor was on Capitol View on KARK/16 this morning. A snippet of his appearance here, in which he talks about being a "bridge builder," somebody who'll cross party lines on votes.

Here's the thing. Mark Pryor is telling the truth. He HAS voted against Democratic Party leadership on occasion. His opponent, Tom Cotton? He defies Republican Party leadership only to bow to Club for Growth extremist leadership.

Does moderation appeal to Arkansas voters? That may be the election year's big question?
