Here's the open line with today's video news roundup. Also today:

* BROADBAND DISCUSSION: Legislators heard today from the rep of a private nonprofit that has been working with the Beebe administration on a plan to guarantee sufficient broadband for all public schools. The pitch is that existing money and resources can do the job because the state is spending too much and inefficiently through an old education computer network run by the Department of Information Services. Sounds as if the outside consultant still believes the idea solution would include relying on an existing broadband network serving state colleges, a joint operation currently prohibited by state law. Steve Brawner reports in detail for Talk Business.
