Pat Hays, job creator

Posted By on Tue, Sep 2, 2014 at 2:46 PM

Democrat Pat Hays, candidate for 2nd District Congress, has a good TV ad man. Doesn't hurt that the former NLR mayor has some material to work with, including job growth on his watch.

The ad is so good the campaign of Republican French Hill hurried out a statement to challenge it. It didn't really challenge the ad's statements. It just said Hays raised taxes, city spending and government pay as mayor and loved Obama and stuff like that. And if that's not bad enough, Hays has championed environmental protection. Dirty liberal b******.

I got the message today before noon; others didn't find out until it was going on. But however folks found out, they turned out in huge numbers, more than thousand men, women and children, on the grounds of the state Capitol to listen to speakers from all faiths and many countries.
