* GUNNING FOR SENATE: It's hardly a surprise that the NRA has endorsed Tom Cotton for U.S. Senate. He's a gun hardliner, including departing from the majority of Americans in opposing an end to the gun show exemption for background checks on gun purchases.

However, I stumbled across a series of Tweets today from Ken Lerer, a co-founder of Huffington Post, aimed at debunking the myth of NRA invincibility. One of his Tweets included this illustration:
