I just don’t have any words for this.

Created by a former ad guru from the Mitt Romney presidential campaign, Vinny Minchillo, who told the New Republic, “It’s become socially acceptable to talk about Republicans in the most evil terms possible and that doesn’t seem right. We wanted to do this to really remind people that Republicans are friends, neighbors and do things that maybe you wouldn’t expect them to do.” Minchillo added that people had called him mean names on social media just because he’s a Republican.

Minchillo has launched a website, RepublicansArePeopleToo.com, for other people to share their stories about being normal, human, warm, fuzzy GOPs. This is, as far as I can tell, not a satire. Maybe it’s just cutting edge. Minchillo has previously said that his efforts for the losing Romney campaign “reinvented political advertising.”

Speaking of Romney, the chances of him making another run for the presidency are apparently “definitely more than zero,” the Washington Examiner reports.
