Rasmussen has tight races for Senate and governor

Posted By on Fri, Oct 17, 2014 at 12:29 PM

I mentioned earlier that the Rasmussen polling organization had found Tom Cotton leading Mark Pryor 47-44, with 5 percent undecided and a 3 percent margin of error in the race for U.S. Senate. A so-called statistical dead heat.

Similar in the governor's race from Rasmussen. 49-47 Hutchinson over Mike Ross, with 3 percent undecided and a 3 percent margin of error.

Say again: Turnout.

Great piece in Washington Post on the budget crisis in Louisiana. Big tax cuts and corporate welfare will do that to a state, particularly to a state whose previous governor, Republican Bobby Jindal, refused to join the Obamacare-funded Medicaid expansion. There's a lesson there for Arkansas.
