Gus Malzahn 'dancing' to MC Hammer

Posted By on Mon, Nov 3, 2014 at 12:08 PM

How 'bout an election distraction?

Here's an undated video of Auburn University football coach Gus Mazahn really workin' it to MC Hammer's "U Can't Touch This."

The YouTube user who posted it said it came from his 2001 Springdale High School Highlights DVD. Apparently, Malzahn was self-deprecating enough that he made it part of his pre-playoffs routine while coaching high school in Arkansas.

From a 2009 Birmingham News story:

Malzahn, who drinks a pot of coffee daily to get himself through the day, says he has "no personality." So it was shocking to Shiloh Christian seniors when every year before the playoffs they watched a video of their coach dancing to MC Hammer's "U Can't Touch This" on a family vacation.
