Child rapist found dead at Pinnacle State Park

Posted By on Sun, Nov 9, 2014 at 4:36 PM

The Baxter Bulletin reports that the body of a man found dead Saturday at Pinnacle Mountain State Park has been identified as that of Thomas James Lovelady, 44, convicted in 1995 of the rape of a seven-year-old stepdaughter in Baxter County when he lived in Mountain Home. He was sentenced to 40 years, but paroled after 10 and has been living in Little Rock. He was reported missing Friday.

Women walking along a highway discovered the body Saturday morning. An autopsy will be done to discover the cause of death.
