The Wednesday open line: Plus, an iPad heist and marriage equality in Montana

Here's the open line and today's video report. Also:

* HALL HIGH BURGLARY: The police reported today that a teacher at Hall High School discovered Monday morning that a window had been broken in his class, apparently by a burglar who then used bolt cutters to get into a locked cart in which the class' iPads were kept. 24, worth more than $12,000, were stolen.

* MORE MARRIAGE EQUALITY: A federal judge in Montana has struck down that state's ban on same-sex marriage. Wrote Judge Brian Morris:

“These families, like all of us, want their children to adventure into the world without fear of violence; to achieve all that their talent and perseverance allows without fear of discrimination; and to love themselves so that they can love others. No family wants to deprive its precious children of the chance to marry the loves of their lives. Montana no longer can deprive Plaintiffs and other same-sex couples of the chance to marry their loves.”
