TGIF and a video to go on: Plus, food fight, Dustin McDaniel's future

Here's the open line and video roundup. Also:

* FOOD FIGHT: Little Rock police said 10 students and one parent were arrested at McClellan High School after a cafeteria food fight escalated into a "brawl." Third-degree battery charges were filed. A mother of one of the students told officers her son, who'd balled his fists at police, was impossible to control at home. Maybe if they sent him out to that Quest charter school they could fix things.

* DUSTIN MCDANIEL: In a speech in Jonesboro today, he said he didn't think he'd run for political office again for "at least a decade," maybe never. Rule him out of a 2016 race for chief justice of the Supreme Court, in other words.

I got the message today before noon; others didn't find out until it was going on. But however folks found out, they turned out in huge numbers, more than thousand men, women and children, on the grounds of the state Capitol to listen to speakers from all faiths and many countries.
