Posted By on Wed, Dec 3, 2014 at 9:44 AM

Little Rock police report that a 14-year-old female was found with a gunshot wound to her abdomen about 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the entrance to Wakefield Elementary School at 75 Westminister Drive in Southwest Little Rock.

The victim told police that "KP or KB" shot her and left in a black vehicle. A 17-year-old female, whom officers encountered crying nearby, told them "a car full of dudes in a black car shot her friend." The wounded female was taken to Children's Hospital.

No event was underway at the school, police said. Those involved just met there.

I got the message today before noon; others didn't find out until it was going on. But however folks found out, they turned out in huge numbers, more than thousand men, women and children, on the grounds of the state Capitol to listen to speakers from all faiths and many countries.
