The Dogpatch USA open line

Here's the open line. For further amusement:

* DOGPATCH: Kat Robinson of Tie Dye Travels and photographer Grav Weldon got an early guided tour around the former Dogpatch USA in advance of a public opening today and tomorrow by Bud Pelsor, a pet food bowl magnate (swear) who's bought the property and hopes to rebuild a tourist attraction there including craftsmen and other entertainment.

And, you can also go here for a nice photo tour of Dogpatch in the ruins. It has a certain charm,  with the rundown structures looking like real Ozark remnants rather than made-to-look-like Ozarks construction of a theme park modeled on Al Capp's long gone Li'l Abner comic strip.
