$59 million offer made for collector John Rogers' holdings

Arkansas Business reports a $59 million purchase offer for the photo, sports memorabilia and other holdings of businesses established by John Rogers, the North Little Rock businessman. His archiving business has been beset by multiple lawsuits and claims on defaulted loans, not to mention federal investigations and a divorce that left his former wife with most marital assets.

The Arkansas Business article says the deal, if completed, would more than satisfy outstanding claims on the property, though fall well short of a $300 million value Rogers once placed on it.

The offer is from a group of Atlanta investors led by Timothy Holly. A search indicates he's CEO of Red Alert Group,
