Major ad firm merger announced — CJRW and Heathcott

Posted By on Sun, Jan 18, 2015 at 9:47 AM

Here, delivered to me a day late, is the announcement of the merger between the CJRW and Heathcott ad/pr firms.

Buzz in the community for weeks had been about what CJRW planned to hold on to the immense state tourism account and ancillary publishing opportunities it carries. Having Gary Heathcott, whose agency worked for Asa Hutchinson's campaign, on board, couldn't hurt. I'd also been hearing that Heathcott was preparing for a move to Texas to be near grandchildren. Perhaps not.

The Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality has denied a new permit for the C&H Hog Farms' concentrated animal feeding operation near Mount Judea (Newton County).
