An incident report said both men were found on the shoulder of Baseline after a passerby called police. Gonzalez was unable to talk to police. Costilla said they were shot by three black men they’d met after a Facebook exchange to buy a gun.  During the transaction, one of the men pulled a gun and opened fire. They stole cash from the victims and fled in a white Cadillac.
