The city of Little Rock and the Sculpture at the River Market Committee installed a new sculpture at Second and Main this morning.

It's "Peace" by Lori Acott of Red Feather Lakes, Colo., which won the 2014 Sculpture at the River Market Show and Sale. The 12-foot sculpture was commissioned by the committee for $60,000 and donate to the city to anchor the hoped-for "creative corridor" that Main Street is to become. The 12-foot piece is made of bronze and includes a silhouette and bronze origami cranes, symboles of peace and hope.
