Rapert pushing for the U.S. to nuke ISIS. No, really.

Over on his Facebook page, Arkansas Sen. Jason Rapert (R-Idiculous) is pushing for the U.S. to drop a nuclear bomb on ISIS. No, not a big ol' nuke, silly. Just an itty bitty tactical one. You know: in the name of stopping insanity. Sayeth the Seer of Bigelow: 

With ISIS spreading all over the Middle East and Africa and Islamic Extremists carrying out violence in Europe, The United Kingdom and even in the United States, I wonder why the civilized world just sits by when we have weapons that could wipe out these barbarians where they are concentrated? I believe it is time to annihilate the strongholds and pursue the rest till we have them all captured or killed. A strategically placed nuclear weapon would save the lives of our soldiers and quickly turn things around. It is time for the insanity to be stopped.

As is Bro. Rapert's habit, he soon took to the comments section of his post to double down rather than fold, contending that those who believe it might be a dumb idea for the United States to turn a city full of non-combatants into a disk of radioactive slag glass just haven't done their "research." Please put on your condescension-proof goggles and do not look directly at the flash. 4... 3... 2...
