Arklahoma: More good ideas for the legislature

Since the Arkansas legislature is rushing headlong to emulate Alabama, Oklahoma and other bastions of progressive thought, we've decided to help. First in a continuing series of great ideas that have not yet reached the Arkansas legislature yet, but should once gay people, women's medical rights, Robert E. Lee and cursive writing have been taken care of.

From Oklahoma, with support from a famous Arkansas native legislator in the Sooner state:

An Oklahoma legislative committee overwhelmingly voted to ban Advanced Placement U.S. History class, persuaded by the argument that it only teaches students “what is bad about America.” Other lawmakers are seeking a court ruling that would effectively prohibit the teaching of all AP courses in public schools.
