Today's free meals for legislators

Posted By on Thu, Mar 12, 2015 at 10:24 AM

Late with the free meal report. But no need for legislators to worry about being called late for dinner. To keep getting free swill, they have to declare lobbyist favors as "scheduled events" to skate around the laughably named "ethics" Amendment 94.

Here's today's grub line:

LUNCH: 11:45-1 p.m., AEA Building, Alpha Kappa Alpha.

LUNCH: 11:30-1:30, Capitol Square Apartments, #13, Arkansas Health Care Association. Nursing homes, Michael Morton prop.

RECEPTION: 3:30-5:30, Capitol Hill Building, Arkansas Users of Telecommunications and Information Systems.

DINNER: 6 p.m., Heritage Grill (in the Marriott Hotel), for House Judiciary Committee by AT&T.

DINNER: 6:30, Samantha's Wood Fired Grill, for the Senate and Health Insurance and Commerce Committees by State Farm Insurance.

All meetings of the legislature are open to the public. Some hosts are friendlier than others.
