The Derby Day open line

Here's an open line. Surely this weather drew a big crowd to the Oaklawn racino for Arkasas Derby Day. Will Stephenson sent in a crowd shot from a fire in the 900 block of Scott Street this afternoon (vacant, just south of Ninth). Big crowds at the flea market in Soma, I can testify from having gone to Boulevard Bread in vain for a loaf of ciabatta.

Scribble away.
