* PRESIDENTIAL SCHOLARS CANDIDATES: Semi-finalists have been announced in the Presidential Scholars program, with winners, two from each state, to be announced in May. They are  Samuel C. Jester, Benton High School; Erin K. Mcshane, Conway High School West; Sherry T. Gao, Little Rock Central High School; Alan B. May, Episcopal Collegiate School; Chuang Z. Tang, Little Rock Central High School, and Shruti M. Shah, Little Rock Central High School

    Gov. Asa Hutchinson apparently felt the burn from KARK's exclusive Tuesday night on his plans to cut state support of War Memorial Stadium in half beginning July 1, 2018. He has a so-far secret plan to make the stadium self-sustaining. We bet that doesn't include state support.
