Clinton cash: Consider the sources

Posted By on Tue, Apr 28, 2015 at 7:09 AM

Much more reporting is to come in examining the private and foundation work of Bill and Hillary Clinton as the 2016 presidential campaign intensifies. That will include reporting on the reporters.

Here, Media Matters, devotes some significant attention to the many reportorial shortcomings in the past of Peter Schweizer, author of a book on which must of recent reporting has been based.  He's had some doozies of misinformation.

In the Clinton matter, Schweizer has already conceded his reporting lacks evidence of quid pro quo. And, it often goes unnoted, much of the material on which he relies is drawn from readily available public sources, some of it voluntarily supplied by the Clinton Foundation.

Media Matters, of course, is funded by progressive types and has ties to people who've supported Clinton.
