Want your head to hurt? Read this account of hate group leader Josh Duggar's appearance as a front man for the forces of discrimination yesterday outside U.S. Supreme Court arguments on same-sex marriage bans.

I think David Badash at the New Civil Rights Movement interpreted Duggar's quotes correctly:

"Natural marriage has been clearly defined over the years," Duggar, speaking in the vernacular of the religious right, said.

"Right now in America there is an agenda to silence people of faith, those who hold a dissenting opinion," Duggar told CBN. "That’s not what America was founded on. America was founded on respect, tolerance, and really not discriminating against people based on their religious convictions."

In other words, not allowing Christians to discriminate against gay people is "discriminating against people based on their religious convictions."

Not allowing Christians to discriminate is discriminating against Christians.

And everyone knows Jesus said to discriminate whenever you encounter sinners.

Hotels: No more rooms for adulterers. Never mind allowing fornicators and the divorced to marry. Those also are  Bible no-nos.

For the umpteenth time: Nobody wants to silence Duggar. They just don't want Duggar's religious views to be imposed on others. He can hate on the gays all he wants. But he must rent them a room, serve them a hamburger and refrain from firing them because of what their sexual orientation might appear to be. (I say appear to be, because how, factually, does he know? Same thing for those bathrooms all the perv transgenders supposedly are yearning to get into? Have they invented an instant chromosome test machine to post at the entrance of all public facilities? Or do people like Duggar just know one when they see one?)
