Homicide on S. Valentine Street

Little Rock Police are investigating a homicide that occurred in the 2300 block of S. Valentine Street this morning, the city's 11th of the year.

According to an email from LRPD spokesman Lt. Sidney Allen, officers responded to a call about a shooting on S. Valentine at around 5:30 this morning, with the caller telling a 911 dispatcher that a neighbor came to their door and said that someone had been shot. When police arrived, they found a male victim dead from a gunshot wound. The victim's name has not been released.
