Saline County deputies found the bodies of two males — aged 8 and 35 — in a car submerged in the Saline River at Westlake Drive and Sanderford Road near Lake Norrell. KARK said the dead are believed to be father and son. The bodies were found about 7:25 a.m.

UPDATE: Subsequent news reports on Twitter say authorities have ruled out foul play and drowning, with some early speculation about carbon monoxide poisoning.

The dead were identified by KARK as Lonnie Moore and his son Riley. Circumsances of the accident remain unclear.
