Lottery reports million-dollar winner

Posted By on Mon, Jul 13, 2015 at 9:32 AM

The Arkansas Lottery reports that Larry Edlemon of Bono won $1 million on a $20 "Platinum Payout" ticket purchased at Jordan's Kwik Stop in Jonesboro. He gets to keep about $680,000 after tax withholding.

Don't go buying one of these tickets hoping to replicate his success. All the $1 million winners have been claimed. There's one $20,000 prize left and then some $1,000 prizes and less.
