Hutchinson prepared to challenge feds, says he is "standing up for Arkansas values"

I asked the governor's office about the fact that his order to terminate the Medicaid provider contract appears to be in clear violation of federal regulations. The federal Department of Health and Human Services has already told that Alabama and Louisiana, which have tried similar maneuvers, that they are in violation of federal law. 

Gov. Asa Hutchinson's spokesman J.R. Davis replied by email: 

"Even though we anticipate a federal review, standing up for Arkansas values is most important to the Governor."  

Well, Attorney General Leslie Rutledge may have a chance to make good on her pledge to fight Obama from Little Rock.
