Planned Parenthood money survives in Congress

Posted By on Wed, Sep 30, 2015 at 4:33 PM

The House voted 277-151 today to approve a temporary spending bill that includes continuing government funding for Planned Parenthood medical services.

Three Arkansas Republicans were among the 151 who voted against the bill — French Hill, Bruce Westerman and Rick Crawford. Rep. Steve Womack was among 91 Republicans who voted for the continuing spending resolution in light of the inability of Republicans to get enough votes to kill Planned Parenthood funding in the Senate.

The Senate earlier passed the so-called "clean" resolution 78-20. Sens. Tom Cotton and John Boozman voted not.
