Mass shootings at Oregon college; 10 dead, many injured

Another mass shooting, this one at Umpqua (Ore.) Community College. CNN is reporting 10 dead and 20 injured. The college is in Roseburg, Ore.

The casualty count has fluctuated dramatically among media.

UPDATE: Article here, citing Oregon attorney general, puts death toll at 13, with 20 injured. She said the shooter "down." But later the sheriff put the toll at 10 dead and seven injured. 

UPDATE: The shooter was killed by officers.

UPDATE: President Obama makes yet another statement after yet another gun tragedy. Thoughts and prayers are not enough, he said. "We are the only advanced country that has these mass shootings routinely."
